Partnering Educators & Financial Professionals to Build Classroom‑Ready Financial Literacy
The Financial Education Teacher Speaker Series is a multi‑week professional development experience bringing together education professionals and financial professionals to co‑present meaningful, classroom‑ready financial literacy resources.
This collaborative series is designed to blend real‑world financial expertise with proven teaching strategies, ensuring financial education concepts are accurate, engaging, and effective for students.
Educators will gain:
• Classroom‑ready financial literacy lessons and resources
• New strategies for teaching complex financial topics
• Real‑world insights to bring learning to life
Together, participants help shape financial education that is accurate, relevant, and effective for students.
Program Dates & Format
The Financial Education Teacher Speaker Series will be held virtually from 9am – 11am MT on the following dates:
• June 11
• June 18
• June 25
• July 9
• July 16
The week of July 4 will serve as a mid‑course reflection week, allowing participants time to reflect, catch up, and refine their learning.
Following the final session, teachers will have several additional days to complete and submit their final reflection paper for Professional Development credit .
Professional Development Credit
Thanks to the generous support of Modern Woodmen, the professional development credit registration cost will be fully covered for 50 teachers.
